Discuss the reasons why children still need to be vaccinated in the United States
What will be an ideal response?
Answer: Most vaccine-preventable diseases have been nearly controlled. Unvaccinated children can become ill because those bacteria and viruses still exist in the environment. Also, travelers from other countries where there are disease outbreaks can bring the disease to the United States. Without vaccination, the disease can be severe and sometimes fatal.
