Describe how a teacher can facilitate effective whole class reading

What will be an ideal response?

Students must have access to the text and to a lead reader. If students cannot see the text, it can be a read-aloud; this has its own benefits, but does not classify as sharing the reading process. Similarly, if there is not a lead reader who can read with fluency, students will struggle with comprehension. This is one of the reasons that the popular approaches of round robin reading and independent completion of class readings are not effective approaches to whole class reading.
