What are three effective guidelines for setting up rules in the classroom?
What will be an ideal response?
First, teachers should established a few simple rules instead of overwhelming children with too many rules. Second, children should know why these rules are set. Children are more likely to follow rules if they understand the reasons behind them. Third, children can be involved in the process of setting up rules. This involvement can help in their understanding of fairness and concern for others. In addition, children are more willing to accept reminders about rules if they have been involved in establishing them.
