Explain Piaget's theory of cognitive development.

His theory of cognitive development argues that the ability to make logical decisions increases as a person grows older. Piaget noted that infants are highly egocentric, experiencing the world as if it were centered entirely on them. In stages, socialization lets them learn to use language and symbols, to think abstractly and logically, and to see things from different perspectives.
