Define the term cultural hegemony.
What will be an ideal response?
Hegemony is the ability of a dominant group to obtain consent and agreement to cultural values and norms without the use or threat of force. With this hegemony of values and norms, some thoughts and actions become unthinkable. People discipline their own behavior to be in accord with what is considered normal, even when this runs counter to their own personal interests.
