Constantine had a major impact on Christianity. For example, he signed an edict
making Christianity an accepted religion (although Theodosius made Christianity the
official religion decades later), he convened the Nicaean council to decide the official
version of Christianity and to decide which Gospels would be included in the Bible
(although the Constantine Bible is lost to history). As a result of his efforts,
Christianity became an established and popular religion.
