List and describe the basic stages of the creative pyramid.

What will be an ideal response?

Awareness: The first stage serves to stimulate the readers and get them engaged in what you want to tell them. This stage is akin to a headline in newspapers or a lead in broadcast. Interest: This gets to the heart of your message and provides your readers with the core information you want to offer them. You can incorporate writing, visuals, audio, or a combination of these elements to draw people in. Credibility: Once people are interested, you need to show them why they should believe you. This stage is one of the least creatives in the pyramid, as you have to offer readers a logical and valuable set of information to establish credibility. Desire: Once you establish the overall value of your product or service, you need to entice people in a way that heightens their desire for it. It is at this point that you can fill in the readers as to the overall benefits that they can receive or you can offer them an emotional message that pulls at their heartstrings. Action: At this point, you want to give them simple ways to enact a behavior. You can show them a website where they can buy a product or give them a telephone number to call so they can get more information on your organization.
