What will be an ideal response?

The primary goal of bodily force is to minimize the subject’s overall movements and limit resistance by securing his or her arms; the use of handcuffs is particularly useful in this regard. Bodily force is the most common type of physical force used by the police and common forms include takedowns or decentralizations, knocking a subject off their feet, and punches/kicks which are designed to make the subject stop resisting.
