What is the difference between goals and objectives as learner outcomes?

• Program goals are broadly stated learner outcomes, reflecting global learner outcomes or the overall intent of an educational intervention.
• Objectives are specifically stated learner outcomes or descriptions of what the learner will be able to do after participating in a learning experience. Objectives can be stated under three possible domains of learning—cognitive, affective, and psychomotor.
