Discuss how launching a career in public relations has changed in the 21st century, especially with respect to the role of technology

What will be an ideal response?

Launching a career today depends not only on "traditional networking," but on conducting a search on the Internet and social media. Some people use their Twitter accounts to announce they are looking for work. They also use Twitter Search to find keywords related to the type of work they are seeking. RSS feeds of keyword conversations can be pulled into Google Reader and checked for incoming messages. Job seekers can then use Twitter to formally introduce themselves and to inquire about a job that may not have even yet been posted.
