Explain how discovery learning and expository teaching foster meaningful learning?
What will be an ideal response?
The answers should acknowledge meaningful learning as process of forming new knowledge by selecting organizing and relating information to prior knowledge. They should recognize discovery learning as allowing students to internalize the principle through unstructured exploration, and expository teaching as activating prior knowledge via advance organizers, organizing material, and presenting in such a way that students relate it to what they already know and to real life, and providing students a chance to practice knowledge/skills in different contexts.
