What will be an ideal response?
Ans: Knowing the research design to be employed is extremely important as different study designs require different levels of measurements. For instance, when group designs are used, a group of people are given the same tool to measure the progress of the dependent variable, whereas in single-subject designs used to evaluate a client’s progress, an individual client is measured repeatedly during various phases of the evaluation process such as the baseline phases in which the client is not receiving the treatment, and the treatment phases in which the client is receiving the treatment.
