What will be an ideal response?

Laminated veneer lumber (LVL) is produced by bonding thin wood veneers together into a large billet with the grain of all veneers parallel to the long direction. The billet is then sawn to desired dimensions, depending on the construction application. LVL members display almost no shrinking, checking, twisting, or splitting.
