Describe how you would create a safe outdoor environment for a family child care home that had a swimming pool
What will be an ideal response?
Gates should be at least 55 inches high and should be self-closing and have a lock. No chairs or other objects such as toys should be around that would attract children to the area. The pool should have a rigid cover and nonskid surface. If children are in the pool, do not use a floatation device. ALWAYS carefully supervise children around any body of water.
