What would be the practical advantage of a protocol change from therapeutic hypothermia to a targeted temperature of 36°C?

What will be an ideal response?

Suggested response: Therapeutic hypothermia is a labour intensive and technical process that can be expensive depending on the delivery method (ice bags, cooling vests, intravascular cooling systems) whereas a targeted temperature of 36°C is logistically a much easier method to introduce and maintain as simple cooling methods can be employed to maintain the target. The incidence and management of shivering is also minimised by the use of a targeted temperature of 36°C.
