White-collar crimes usually committed by a person who has already achieved much in their life. They usually have money and status and steal from people who don’t. White-collar crime is usually someone the saved money of another. Even more usual it is a pension fund or savings account of someone who doesn’t have a lot of money. Rather than stealing a car that could be replaced white-collar crimes steal someone’s retirement or savings. This is way more damaging to a way of life than a street or violent crime.
