Put yourself in charge of your feelings. Replace those negative thoughts and ideas with positive ones. Practice relaxation and positive thinking and picture yourself succeeding. Picture yourself succeeding. Give yourself permission to take some breaks; studying all of the time will increase anxiety. Review books and tapes assist with the review of important content and do not necessarily deal with test anxiety directly. They may discuss the concept and provide strategies to use, such as the two mentioned in the correct response. Test-taking skills are important for success on NCLEX but do not directly reduce test anxiety.
