What is the best way to use practice to improve your memory?
What will be an ideal response?
Your memory practice needs to be an active process. A good way to begin is to write or say what you need to learn. This should be followed by activities (using flash cards, revising of concept maps, and taking self-tests, for example) that will allow you to practice what you need to learn. A second way to engage your memory is to practice what you expect to encounter on tests. If you anticipate having to write essay questions, you should practice doing them. If you expect to take a timed test, practice answering questions with time limitations. Finally, you need to be realistic about the amount of time you can concentrate and to try to stay within that time frame.
