To run an SQL query in Microsoft Access, start on the Create command tab. Click the Query Design button, which will display a Query window together with the Show Tables dialog box. An SQL statement can now be entered into the Query window. To execute the query after the SQL statement is complete, click the Run button on the Design command tab.
