Each theory within critical theories has its own criticisms however the main criticisms of all three include:
• They do not see the world the way other theories see the world.
• They are idealistic, and do not offer explanations of operation.
• They lack of empirical validity.
• Feminist criminology theory is criticized for being too reductionist whereas critical race theory is criticized for “playing the race card.”
