What will be an ideal response?

The informal sector includes jobs like shining shoes, working as a day laborer in construction, or selling items from a portable stand. No one is really sure how many people work in the informal sector because it is a cash only business with little record keeping. Advantages: flexible hours, children can work with parents, and there are no bosses. Disadvantages: no guarantee of income, no benefits, often at the mercy of criminal organizations attempting to regulate (and profit from the informal sector.
