How does adult optimism impact children's behavior?

What will be an ideal response?

Adults should firmly maintain and express confidence that specific problems will be resolved and that children will learn to behave appropriately. Adult confidence will strengthen children's confidence that they can gain control over their own behavior. If children believe that adults expect them to fail, they are more likely to do so.
