What will be an ideal response?


Stretch goals are goals that seem slightly unrealistic, just out of an employee’s
reach. When a manager sets this kind of goal, he or she is hoping it will motivate the
employee to be more focused and work harder in the pursuit of something even if it
seems extraordinarily difficult.
