In which situations is Type III Portland cement (PC) used?

What will be an ideal response?

Type III is high-early strength PC. It is used in concrete elements in which early removal of formwork is needed. For most precast concrete elements and in some cast-in-place concrete, the formwork is removed within 24 hours, requiring the use of Type III PC.
