Answers will vary, but may include the following:
• Place laminated photographs of different sized blocks or toys to organize the center during cleanup and enable children to put the blocks or toys away in the correct location.
• Parents can place picture labels on shelves or drawers to help a child clean up by putting each item in its place.
• A basket for placing completed work can have a photograph of the teacher accepting a students’ paper attached to it.
• Cubbies or hooks where children should place backpacks or other items can have the child’s name and a picture of a backpack attached.
