Parachutes: A colorful parachute provides a stimulus for group activitiy that involves working together and coordinating movements.
Large Beach Balls: Large balls are easy to throw, catch, and manipulate. Young children can be more successful with this size of ball.
Fabric: A variety of pieces of fabric can be used by an individual child, partners, or small group. These can also range in size from ¼ yard to long pieces of 2 to 3 yards. Transparent and sparkle fabrics are especially interesting for young children and encourage their movement.
