OBD II DTCs have five characters, a letter followed by four numbers. What do the characters represent?

What will be an ideal response?

1. The first character is a letter identifying the area of the vehicle that the code relates to.
2. The second character is a 0 or a 1. A 0 is an SAE generic code, whereas a number 1 is a code assigned by the vehicle manufacturer.
3. The third character is a number from 1 to 8 representing a subsystem of the vehicle that the code belongs to.
4. The last two characters are numbers that represent the actual fault code listing the sensor or actuator circuit where the problem has occurred.

An ideal gas, initially at 30°C and 100 kPa, undergoes the following cyclic processes in a closed system:

What will be an ideal response?
(a) In mechanically reversible processes, it is first compressed adiabatically to 500 kPa, then cooled at a constant pressure of 500 kPa to 30°C, and finally expanded isothermally to its original state.
(b) The cycle traverses exactly the same changes of state, but each step is irreversible with an efficiency of 80% compared with the corresponding mechanically reversible process. Note: The initial step can no longer be adiabatic.
Calculate Q, W, ?U, and ?H for each step of the process and for the cycle. Take and
