Teachers should establish a good rapport with their students and families. It's important to listen well and to take seriously any concerns of bullying. Students may need to have counseling sessions. Schools and school districts should provide parent resource centers and opportunities for parenting skill development. Parent-school partnerships should be forged for mutual support.
