Provide an example in which technology has changed a person’s job.

What will be an ideal response?

Answers will vary. Here are two examples:
Before the information age, managers employed secretaries to compose, send, file,
receive, and respond to documents. They employed bookkeepers to handle financial
records. Today’s managers are expected to use computer programs to do both
administrative and accounting work.
Another example is that many workers have been displaced due to robotics being
installed in modern factories. Robotics replaced the men and women who previously did
the jobs by hand.
