Discuss the two ways technology can support self-monitoring and provide 2 examples of each.

What will be an ideal response?

Technology can support self-monitoring by providing a cue or recording one’s self-monitoring. In terms of serving as a cue, a cell phone can provide tactile (i.e., vibration) cue. Technology can also provide an audio cue that it is time for self-monitoring. In terms of recording, students have successfully used a student response system to record their self-monitoring; students have also recording their self-monitoring on apps.
