Define what a euphemism is and provide an example of one

What will be an ideal response?

A euphemism is an expression that describes something vulgar or profane (or
something people prefer not to talk about directly) but uses less explicit language. We might say
that someone is taking a "dirt nap" rather than say s/he is dead. We can say that someone has
"gone to the john" rather than to describe what s/he might be DOING in the restroom.
