When dealing with children who have developed persistent habit patterns of unproductive behavior, what is the key to sucess?

What will be an ideal response?

We must fight against the temptation to relieve problems causing persistent patterns of unproductive behavior. Healing can only take place when children feel that they are accepted and worthwhile group members, they have some control over their lives, they are treated fairly and respectfully, and they are optimistic that they can succeed in whatever is expected of them.
