Distinguish between the concepts of presenting self and perceived self

What will be an ideal response?

The presenting self and perceived self have to do with how we manage our identity. The
presenting self is the "face" we put on for others. It is the public image we present in order to
get others to see us or think of us in certain ways. The perceived self is the person we believe
ourselves to be. For example, I always think of myself as a person who gets things done on time.
This may or may not be reality, but it is how I see myself.
