Why is it important to develop many positive relationships at work?

There are very few roles that do not involve some kind of dependency on others to succeed. Your work is guided and reviewed by your immediate manager, is impacted by others’ contributions to your tasks, and contributes to others’ success as well. While it isn’t necessary to be close friends with everyone at work, do not underestimate the importance of developing effective relationships at work.
