To what extent are students with EBD included in general education classrooms, and what are the areas of concern related to their inclusion?

What will be an ideal response?

Students with emotional and behavior disorders receive their education in all the settings described in IDEA, more so than almost any other group of students with disabilities, meaning that many of them are in the general education setting for much of the day, but many are also in separate schools and facilities. The areas of concern include the pressure caused by expectations to participate in the general education curriculum, social rejection due to difficulty making friends, and the need for mental health treatment in addition to academic supports.
