Wheel offset is the distance between the vertical wheel rim mounting surface and the centerline of the wheel rim. If the wheel centerline is located outboard from the vertical wheel mounting surface, the wheel has positive offset. If the wheel centerline is located inboard from the vertical mounting surface, the wheel has negative offset.
