The product owner acts on behalf of customers/end users to represent their interests. He or she is also responsible for ensuring that the development team focuses their efforts on developing a product that will fulfill the business objective of the project. The development team is responsible for delivering the product. The Scrum master facilitates the Scrum process and resolves impediments at the team and organization level. The Scrum master is not the leader of the team but acts as a buffer between the team and outside interference.
