Explain the difference between hesitations and disclaimers

Hesitations and disclaimers are both types of powerless speech mannerisms that
deflate the strength of a message. Hesitations create an impression of a weak communicator.
Hesitations include "uh" and "well," and can make a speaker appear intimidated. Disclaimers
are a way of denying and deflating a message. Examples include "I know I shouldn't say this,
but…" and "You're not going to like this but...."
