Why do shock absorbers have a small air chamber inside the casing or a reservoir?
What will be an ideal response?
Shocks need a small air chamber or reservoir to receive the oil displaced by the shock shaft as it enters the shock body on compression the stroke. Since oil is not compressible it must be shuttled to another location or the shock would not function.
