Sexual motives may impact when men and women choose to conform and to engage in nonconformity. Please explain these motives and the findings that support this reasoning

What will be an ideal response?

Gender stereotypes of men often emphasize independence and a willingness to take risks. When men were interested in attracting a female mate, they were less conforming. However, because agreeableness is valued in women, women expecting to attract a mate were more likely to conform. Thus, even while men may not have conformed to a particular situation when there was a sexual motive, they were conforming to gender stereotypes just as women's conformity in the specific situation also shows conformity to a gender stereotype.
