Kapp and Anderson provide an example of a consumer satisfaction survey of a family preservation program. Explain why the results were extremely positive (e.g., 98% satisfaction rate).
What will be an ideal response?
Because each family preservation worker asked his or her client families to complete a questionnaire about satisfaction with services and then give it back to the worker. So, when the worker handed the forms to family members and asked them to rate their performance, the consumers knew that the worker had significant influence on the future of their families; specifically, when recommendations were made at the end of service about the possible placement of their children out of the home.
