There are several on-site training methods that are available to experience, beginning and novice workers.
• One-the-job training is one the oldest methods used by organizations, beginning workers are trained on the work site by experienced workers. Job rotation is a process of rotating workers through a variety of jobs, with the expectation of learning by experience.
• Apprentice training is a method that involves an established worker tutoring a novice worker and is common in skilled traders, after a length of time; the individual is promoted to journeyman.
