Explain how you would make decisions about the use of predicates in the case of indefinitepronoun subjects
What will be an ideal response?
The indefinite pronouns "any one," "anybody," "anyone," "anything," "each," "somebody,"
"someone," and so on are always singular. When they are used as subjects and when they
modify other subjects, their predicates must be singular. Example: "Each of the printers has a
10-foot cable that connects it to the computer." In this sentence, the singular verb "has" and
the pronoun "it" agree with the subject "each."
