How should a fuel cell stack be treated when accessed?
What will be an ideal response?
The fuel cell stack itself is generally fragile. Anytime it is accessed, it should be treated with considerable care and respect. Even the oil on clean hands may be enough to disrupt its operations and some types, such as SPFC (PEM) cells, can be damaged by even a small slip of a screwdriver. Make sure all bolts are carefully torqued and any recommended tightening progression followed. If a line or fitting leading to the cells themselves is opened, make sure it is immediately covered to ensure that not even dust gets in.
