Explain how to restrain a mouse

What will be an ideal response?


Use one hand to scoop the mouse into the palm of the hand.
Gently close the fingers around the mouse's body.
Use the free hand to grasp the tail.
Move the other hand and grasp the loose skin on the base of the neck using the thumb and index finger.
The mouse can be lifted in the scruff position as necessary.
Use caution not to scruff too tightly or the oxygen supply can be cut off.
