What will be an ideal response?
In addition to refining cultural values, the GLOBE research team also examined the
question of whether or not there were any leadership behaviors that appeared to be
acceptable across cultures. Their analysis found that there are certain culturally
endorsed attributes of leadership, which may be universal. This is known as the
culturally endorsed implicit leadership theory (CLT), which identified the following
leadership behaviors that were perceived as effective across cultures--
charismatic/value-based, team-oriented, participative, humane-oriented, autonomous,
and self-protective.
