Students with disabilities often exhibit difficulty generalizing skills taught in one setting to an alternate setting or set of circumstances. Recently students with disabilities are increasingly educated in the general education stetting. Due to these issues it is important for teachers to train for generalization in order to expand the environments and skills to which students are able to apply the skills they have learned.
