Food is seen as an issue of control between toddlers and adults. As a teacher, describe what you can do to help alleviate this struggle
What will be an ideal response?
To eliminate food as an issue of control, the teacher needs to realize that he or she is responsible for what and when the child eats, but not how much. With this in mind, the child is responsible for how his or her body develops. So, you can provide good food, set times, and limits for eating and not allow children to snack whenever they want, but to eat when others do.
