Discuss how gender relates to the approaches managers often take when interacting with their subordinates. What contributes to the comparison?

What will be an ideal response?

Women tend to be more participative as leaders than are men, involving subordinates in decision making and seeking their input. There are at least two reasons why female managers may be more participative as leaders than are male managers. First, subordinates may try to resist the influence of female managers more than they do the influence of male managers. A second reason why female managers may be more participative is that they sometimes have better interpersonal skills than male managers.
