In a typical child care program, there will be some children who need a nap in the middle of the day and others who do not. How would you structure a program to meet the needs of children in both of these groups?
What will be an ideal response?
ANS: In order to meet the needs of both groups it is important to provide a quite low lit area for the children who need to nap and an alternative area for non-nappers. Examples can be with table toys, manipulatives or language arts to keep a calm quiet environment.
